Dr. Howard S. Goldberg, is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine. He completed his Dermatology residency at Tufts University School of Medicine, earning the distinction of “Chief Resident” his final year. For over forty years, Dr. Goldberg has dedicated his life to practicing clinical Dermatology, servicing a vastly diverse patient population extending from Boston to the surrounding North Shore area. Over the last two decades, his practice has expanded into the cosmetic realm employing the latest and best technologies for facial rejuvenation with lasers, fillers, and botulinum toxin. In addition, by virtue of his skills in Dermatopathology, Dr. Goldberg is also able to offer a higher level of service to his medical dermatology patients.
He is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology and he is an active member of the following Dermatologic organizations: American Academy of Dermatology (AAD); American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS); American Society for Laser, Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS); American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP); The New England Dermatologic Society; and The Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology.

Dermatologist
Eva Marie Volf, MD is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with clinical interests in acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer prevention. Dr.Volf has trained with world-renowned cosmetic experts and offers services including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, laser aesthetics, and medical-grade chemical peels. Originally from the Boston area, Dr. Volf graduated summa cum laude with Honors Distinction from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She earned her medical degree with Research Honors from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Volf returned to Boston to complete her residency training in dermatology at Tufts Medical Center. During her training, she was featured in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology Resident Spotlight column and was presented with the Resident of Distinction Award. She has published in peer reviewed journals on topics in psoriasis and atopic dermatitis and has presented her research at national conferences. She has contributed to articles in Greatest and Martha Stewart Living. Dr. Volf is an active member of the following dermatologic organizations: American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS), and International Peeling Society (IPL).

Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Fewkes was born and raised in California. She went to the University of California at San Francisco Medical school, was elected President of the school while there, did her internship at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles before moving to Boston to do her dermatology residency at Harvard. She did her Mohs fellowship at Duke University in North Carolina and then returned to Boston to open one of the 2 first Mohs units in the city. She also created the Mohs units at Beth Israel Hospital and the West Roxbury VAH. She was written up in the International Journal of Women’s Dermatology as one of the pioneers in Mohs surgery. She trained 9 Mohs surgeons in her own fellowship program. She has authored a textbook on dermatologic surgery and several chapters in textbooks as well as scientific articles. She has lectured locally, nationally and internationally. She continues to teach a very popular surgical clinic for residents in the Harvard Dermatology program. She has been named in the Boston magazine as one of the Best Doctors in Boston every year since 2008. She is also on staff at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Beth Israel Hospital.
Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Richard A. Peinert, M.D., a native of Lynn, attended St. Mary’s High School, Williams College. (where he was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate and varsity football player) and Harvard Medical School. His surgical training included a full general surgical residency, a surgical oncology fellowship through the American Cancer Society, and a plastic surgical residency, all at Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals. His plastic surgical mentors included Robert Goldwyn, M.D, editor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Eugene Courtiss, M.D, past president of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and Nobel laureate Joseph Murray, M.D.
Dr. Peinert is joining Dr Howard Goldberg’s practice after forty years of private practice on the North Shore. During that time, he has served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Union Hospital, Lynn, Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, and Salem Hospital. He is also a past president of the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgeons. A resident of Lynnfield, he was a member of the Lynnfield Board of Health for 26 years, most of them as chairman. He enjoys golf, cooking, gardening, and travelling in his spare time.
Nurse Practitioner
Susan DeDominicis is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in dermatology. She graduated with honors from Regis College with a B.S in Nursing. Susan earned her Masters of Nursing degree with honors from Regis College. She did her clinical dermatology training here at Howard S Goldberg, MD Inc. Her clinical interests are psoriasis and skin cancer prevention. Susan is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Physician Assistant
Mana is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Rochester and went on to receive her Master of Science from the University of Pittsburgh Physician Assistant Program. Prior to joining our team at Howard S. Goldberg, MD Inc., she worked in a private dermatology practice in New York City. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Mana is passionate about providing quality care for both medical and cosmetic patients.
Physician Assistant
Lindsay is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing is surgical dermatology and skin cancer prevention. She graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from Indiana-Purdue University. In her undergraduate studies she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi and the Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies all while playing Division 1 soccer. She then went on to earn her Masters of Science from the Northeastern University Physician Assistant Program. Prior to joining our team at Howard S. Goldberg, MD inc., she worked at another local private practice performing excisions and assisting in closures after Mohs surgery. Lindsay is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Jenna is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She attended The University of Vermont where she received a Bachelor of Arts and earned her Master of Science degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Prior to joining our team at Howard S. Goldberg, MD Inc., she worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Massachusetts Association of Physician Assistants. Jenna enjoys practicing medical and surgical dermatology with special interests in acne, skin cancer surveillance and management, and cosmetics. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, the beach, art and hiking.

Selene received her Medical/Masters Aesthetician license and is a 2013 Certified Graduate of the 900-Hour Program at the Catherine Hinds Institute. She received additional training and is a 2015 Certified Graduate of the Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics, with 600-hours training in advanced skin care and 180 hours as a cosmetic laser technician. Selene is highly-trained in all of our products and cosmetic procedures, working alongside all of our providers. Additionally, she is bilingual, in English and Spanish.
Clinical Supervisor & Certified CoolSculpting® Technician
Jessica O’Connell is a Medical Assistant certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants since 2009. She has been a member of our team since 2011. Jessica received training at CoolSculpting University and has been performing consultations and treatments for our patients since 2015. She also manages and coordinates all our mohs and surgical services. Jessica can guide you in how to prepare for any treatment or planned surgical procedure.
Chief of Operations and Business Development
Lynn joined the practice in 2010, restructuring the billing department and leading the practice through the many technological and business advancements of today’s healthcare environment. She was promoted to Practice Administrator in 2017.
Lynn now leads our team of dedicated providers and staff and is responsible for the operational management, provider and employee relations, revenue cycle management, and the continued growth and development of the practice.
With a demonstrated history in the marketing and management of intangible goods, both in the non-profit and the healthcare sector, her goal now is to make sure our office provides exceptional care in a professional environment. Lynn received a Bachelor of Science from Bentley University, is a Certified Physician Practice Manager with AAPC and a member of The Dermatology Managers Association.
