With the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency ending on May 11, 2023, our primary goal remains to protect the health and safety of our patients, staff, and families.
Masking
Masks have been important during the pandemic. At this point in time, however, universal masking is no longer needed. Employee and patient masking is now optional.
Staff and Patients are still required to wear a mask if they:
- Have a cough or exhibit cold/flu like symptoms.
- Have a known COVID-19 infection and are within the first 10 days.
- Have a known exposure to COVID-19 within the last 10 days.
Masks will still be available as well as the hand sanitation stations. We will continue to utilize our surgically clean air system to reduce the spread of pathogens.
Please note: Broader masking may be needed again in the future. We will inform you if our policies change.
Symptom Screening
We will no longer ask patients and visitors screening questions before a visit.
Visitor Policy
Visitors no longer need to mask or be screened for symptoms. However, visitors should postpone their visit if they are sick. Visitors who have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 10 days are also asked not to visit.
