Laser Treatments
Broken Capillaries
The Candela V-Beam Perfecta Laser is a high-intensity light which spot treats the vascular lesion(s) by targeting and heating the unwanted vein. Improvement may be seen after one treatment, but several treatments may be required to achieve maximum results.
Brown Spots
Brown Spots are the superficial pigmentation caused by sun damage and can be successfully treated with the Candela Alex Laser. The laser is attracted to the melanocytes, drawing the pigment out of the skin for a clearer complexion. Improvement may be seen after one treatment, but several treatments may be necessary to achieve maximum results.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal helps to reduce the appearance of unwanted hair. A series of at least six treatments is necessary, leaving four to six weeks between each treatment. Hair growth is caused by hormones and because every patient’s hormone levels are different, some patients may require more treatments or touch-ups after the first six laser treatments are completed. The laser is only attracted to hair with pigment: black, brown, and light brown.
Leg Vein Treatments
We offer a number of treatments for removing spider veins, hemangiomas (blood vessel overgrowths) and small varicose veins caused by heredity and aging. A consultation with a provider will help you to find the best treatment to rid yourself of bothersome leg veins.
Melasma Laser Treatment
The melasma laser treatment begins with a light microdermabrasion to remove the buildup of dead skin cells. Then the skin is treated with the Medlite Laser to directly target and break up the darker pigmentation seen on the surface of the skin.
Tattoo Removal
With the use of two different lasers, the MedLite® IV Laser and AlexLAZR, our trained staff can remove unwanted tattoos, whether they are amateur (superficial) or professional (deeper and usually multicolored). The most effective tattoo colors to treat include black, blue, brown, green, and red.
TotalFX Laser Treatment
The TotalFX Laser targets the deep dermal layers of the skin causing tissue to regenerate and new collagen to form, creating long term collagen remodeling. TotalFX reduces the appearance of deeper wrinkling, pigmentation, and overall texture. Patients can experience seven to ten days of downtime, although the smooth, youthful skin that results from Active FX Laser Skin Resurfacing, can last for several years after recovery.
